Karachi: NDMA has stated that cleansing of drains in Karachi is in progress and up to now 30,000 tons of rubbish has been faraway from three main drains of the town.
According to the spokesperson of NDMA, on the path of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the marketing campaign for cleansing the storm drains in Karachi continued for the fourth day. About eight,500 tons of rubbish was faraway from the drains yesterday. So far, about 30,000 tons of rubbish has been faraway from the three main drains.
According to the spokesperson, the FWO has cleared 95 per cent of Gujjar Nala, 100 per cent of Korangi Nala and 90 per cent of Mowach Goth Nala.
According to the NDMA spokesperson, the Chairman NDMA is in fixed contact with the FWO and different involved businesses, protecting the Prime Minister of Pakistan knowledgeable of the progress of the work each day.
