Lahore: The Civil Aviation Authority has cleared the license of the PIA captain and first officer working flights to Japan.
According to a PIA spokesman, the PIA offered the CAA's licensing department with an inventory of licenses for 63 captains and 37 first officers, and requested that the captains of flights to Japan, First License of officers and air hosts needs to be renewed. After an intensive evaluate of the listing, the Civil Aviation Authority cleared the captain, first officer and air hostesses.
PIA operates 2 weekly flights from Islamabad and Lahore to Tokyo, Japan, however these flights are quickly suspended. The Japanese aviation had written a letter to the PIA asking for affirmation of the license. The captain and the air crew will be capable to fly to Japan solely after the licensed license certificates.
