Rawalpindi: National T20 Cup defending champions Northern beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by 11 runs of their final league match.
Northern gained the toss and elected to bat first on the Pindi Cricket Stadium Rawalpindi. Wahab Riaz led 5 gamers to the pavilion for 21 runs. Northern scored 144 for 9 within the allotted 20 overs. Captain Emad Waseem stood out with 36 runs.
In reply, regardless of an unbeaten 79 by opener Muhammad Haris, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa staff managed to attain solely 133 runs for the lack of 7 wickets within the stipulated 20 overs.
