Karachi: The Sindh authorities, with the approval of the Chief Minister, ordered an inquiry into the pretend domiciles and PRCs.
The Home Department has issued a proper notification for the formation of committees. According to the notification, the involved commissioner in every division would be the head of the committee. The committee will encompass an extra commissioner and a 19th grade officer with the approval of Chief Secretary Sindh. The committee will test the data of domiciles and PRCs issued within the final ten years.
According to the notification, a full inquiry has been ordered into the continuing domicile throughout the province. It could also be recalled that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had ordered an inquiry into the domicile and PRC certificates issued within the province over the past ten years.
According to the notification, the committee will determine suspicious domiciles and PRCs. The committee will full the inquiry inside 30 days and submit its suggestions to the Home Department.
According to the notification, the divisional committee will test the data of the suspicious domicile holders. The order states that the domicile holders will be capable to attraction to the Home Department committee with documentary proof.
According to sources, greater than 50,000 domiciles have been issued in 29 districts of Sindh in ten years. Opposition members had accused the Sindh authorities of giving a whole bunch of domiciles to non-natives from Sindh.
