Islamabad: The authorities submitted the proposed draft modification to the NAB legislation to the opposition, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has confirmed the submission of the draft.

According to Express, the federal government is working to amend the NAB legislation. In this regard, a draft has been ready which has been submitted to the opposition. Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Legislation Shah Mehmood Qureshi mentioned that the draft ought to be given to the opposition. Has confirmed.

In the draft, a number of amendments and options have been made by the federal government within the NAB legislation, based on which the proposed modification states that a NAB case can’t be made if a public workplace bearer does any work in good religion. Government proposals state that the federal government needs to increase the tenure of the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Prosecutor General.
