Lahore: The International Sports Arbitration Court granted the request for a listening to on the PCB's video hyperlink.
A listening to on the PCB's petition in opposition to commutation of Umar Akmal's sentence within the cricket corruption case is more likely to be held in December. According to sources, the arbitral tribunal rejected Umar Akmal's request for an open listening to, stating that the listening to can be digital and that Umar Akmal would now be capable to make his video hyperlink out there for listening to by November 2.
The PCB has appealed in opposition to the choice of the Independent Adjudicator to scale back the sentence. Justice (retd) Faqir Muhammad Khokhar had halved the sentence of Umar Akmal introduced by the Anti-Corruption Tribunal from three years.
