Karachi: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has revoked the licenses of 17 PIA pilots, together with a primary officer, over a questionable license problem.
Following authorities approval, the DG Civil Aviation Authority issued an official letter revoking the license.
According to sources, motion is being taken to dismiss 17 pilots of the nationwide airline whose licenses have been revoked. The suspended pilots have been given two weeks to file a reply for his or her clearance. The PIA had already grounded these 17 pilots in 2019.
The APTL licenses of 48 PIA pilots have been suspended with out present trigger and the licenses of greater than 160 pilots on suspicious licenses are beneath investigation.
