Earlier within the first T20 match performed in Manchester, England had already misplaced opener Johnny Barstow's wicket within the over when he was caught by Emad Wasim on the ball for simply three runs.
After the primary wicket, David Mellon and Tom Benton batted responsibly for 23 and 71, respectively, to extend England's total rating. Mellon was run out by Mohammad Hafeez on the ball of Shadab Khan whereas Emad Wasim caught Benton on the ball of Shadab and confirmed the best way to the pavilion after which no participant may bat and the wickets stored falling like playing cards.
For Pakistan, Emad Wasim and Shadab Khan bought two wickets every whereas Iftikhar Ahmed bought one wicket.
