Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to abolish departments in nationwide hockey after cricket and create a brand new hockey construction for the Pakistan Hockey Federation. It is realized that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Hockey Federation to enhance hockey. The present scenario of hockey was reviewed and sources mentioned that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Hockey Federation to vary the construction of hockey to enhance hockey.
The Prime Minister has directed to abolish departmental groups like cricket and has proposed to kind provincial and district groups within the model of cricket. Sources mentioned that the choice of the Hockey Federation to abolish departments is tough. The Prime Minister has been informed that like cricket, hockey groups can’t be eradicated.
Hockey Federation Secretary Asif Bajwa, when contacted, mentioned that he had spoken to the Prime Minister for the betterment of hockey and guaranteed that the federal government would sponsor the Hockey Federation in order that hockey might be promoted.
