9 oil advertising and marketing firms stockpiled petrol which led to disaster, investigation report
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered the suspension and revocation of licenses of firms concerned within the latest petrol disaster within the nation.
A preliminary investigation report on the petrol disaster was introduced to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) blames the Petroleum Division for the petrol disaster. According to the report, DG Oil Dr. Shafi Afridi and Petroleum Division officers failed to meet their tasks, 9 oil advertising and marketing firms stockpiled petrol which led to disaster.
The Prime Minister directed OGRA to take motion in opposition to the oil firms and officers held accountable within the report and requested them to droop and revoke the licenses of the businesses concerned. Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered that every one oil advertising and marketing firms be required to make sure 21 days stockpile.
